Wesco International: Q2 Earnings Snapshot
PITTSBURGH (AP) _ Wesco International Inc. (WCC) on Thursday reported second-quarter earnings of $220.7 million.
On a per-share basis, the Pittsburgh-based company said it had profit of $3.95. Earnings, adjusted for non-recurring costs, were $4.19 per share.
The results exceeded Wall Street expectations. The average estimate of five analysts surveyed by Zacks Investment Research was for earnings of $3.88 per share.
The maker of electrical and industrial maintenance supplies and construction materials posted revenue of $5.48 billion in the period, also beating Street forecasts. Four analysts surveyed by Zacks expected $5.36 billion.
Wesco International expects full-year earnings in the range of $15.60 to $16.40 per share.
