Dine Brands: Q2 Earnings Snapshot
GLENDALE, Calif. (AP) _ Dine Brands Global Inc. (DIN) on Tuesday reported second-quarter net income of $24 million.
On a per-share basis, the Glendale, California-based company said it had profit of $1.45. Earnings, adjusted for one-time gains and costs, came to $1.65 per share.
The results surpassed Wall Street expectations. The average estimate of five analysts surveyed by Zacks Investment Research was for earnings of $1.58 per share.
The parent company of Applebee’s and IHOP restaurants posted revenue of $237.8 million in the period, also topping Street forecasts. Four analysts surveyed by Zacks expected $235.3 million.
