Bloom Energy: Q2 Earnings Snapshot
SAN JOSE, Calif. (AP) _ Bloom Energy Corp. (BE) on Tuesday reported a loss of $118.8 million in its second quarter.
On a per-share basis, the San Jose, California-based company said it had a loss of 67 cents. Losses, adjusted for one-time gains and costs, came to 20 cents per share.
The results met Wall Street expectations. The average estimate of seven analysts surveyed by Zacks Investment Research was also for a loss of 20 cents per share.
The developer of fuel cell systems posted revenue of $243.2 million in the period, which did not meet Street forecasts. Seven analysts surveyed by Zacks expected $244.2 million.
Bloom Energy expects full-year revenue in the range of $1.1 billion to $1.15 billion.
Bloom Energy shares have increased 13% since the beginning of the year. In the final minutes of trading on Tuesday, shares hit $24.76, a rise of 7% in the last 12 months.
